David Molnar is a Managing Director and Partner at Crest Capital Advisors.

David co-manages the Crest Capital practice helping to ensure a high quality client experience for all of the team’s valued clients. He is directly responsible for coordinating the team’s efforts in delivering comprehensive financial planning services and personalized investment management solutions. His ability to take ownership of each client’s unique goals and objectives, and deliver transparent advice in their best interest, has made him a highly sought-after financial advisor.

David has spent the last 30 years working in finance, and co-founded Crest Capital Advisors (previously Hightower San Diego) in 2012. In addition to holding a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from the University of California, San Diego, David is also a member of the Financial Advisors IQ Leadership Council and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®. David is committed to providing objective and comprehensive advice as well as developing strategies based solely on our client’s needs.

A dynamic speaker, David is a regular contributor to CNBC and has been quoted in many of the top financial industry publications including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, The New York Times, Reuters, & TheStreet.com among others.

David enjoys working in finance because he finds it rewarding to serve others and help his clients’ achieve their goals. A little known fact about David… He was a member of Hightower’s Crazy Eights, a team that overcame mud, hail, and freezing weather conditions to win first place in the corporate division of the Ragnar Trail Relay Race at Zion National Park.

David resides in Del Mar, California where he lives an active lifestyle, and spends his time working out or enjoying short runs along the coast. In what’s left of his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing the piano, and spending time at home with his family.
